Cheap and cheerful, just what I needed though. There's were a lot of lorry drivers staying there and a strong smell of cannabis in the evenings during my Monday to Friday stay (hopefully the two things aren't related!). Some nice places to eat in Buckingham within 10-15 minutes walk.
Hotel has no facilities ,staff great, but rooms in summer are incredibly hot, the windows barley open and no air conditioning, was 20+ degrees 5 am in morning, supermarket and garage on the doorstep though

MOST SHOCKING HOTEL EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE - would be ZERO stars if the option were available. If you like a good nights sleep this hotel is not for you unless there is snow on the ground!Stayed for 2 nights during July - hotel is like a hot house in the summer. Windows do not open and the rooms are like staying in a greenhouse. Their answer is to put a fan in a room that is 24 degress plus to move the hot air about. We were amongst a crowd of people at reception who were furious at their treatment. Staff on site were rude and dismissive of complaints when tackled about the conditions but this obviously stems from the top down... after emailing with their "customer services" and eventually the CEO office this is their reply..."I am sorry to hear you were not satisfied with my previous response.As I have mentioned in my previous email not all of our hotels have air conditioning and it is a business decision we have decided to make to not install this in all of our hotels.Our hotels have a number of measures in an attempt to keep our rooms as cool as I have explained. We also do not state on our website that the rooms at our Buckingham hotel have air conditioning in them.I am sorry for your disappointing stay however feel the hotel did everything they could to ensure you had a comfortable stay and therefore I will not be able to look into this matter further.Kind regards,Ryan MeredithChief Executive's Office"You have been warned!
Everything was really good except a couple of things.There were spider in the corners of the rooms and the single beds were not really ideal because if you go to one side of it you can fall with the bed on you.
