Staff were really friendly. Food was good and not over priced
Always a great carvery on a Sunday lunch. Friendly staff warm atmosphere can be busy. Not cheap but top quality food locally produced worth the extra. Been several times never disappointed.
Stopped off in village and spotted the bell doing carvery for lunch. Glad we did, probably the best carvery we've ever had. Definitely go back when we are that way again
Thoroughly enjoyed another excellent lunch here. Good food, will presented,well served by good staff. Add to the good selection of beers and it's well worth going out of your way to eat here.
We had our wedding reception at The Bell in September and Tara and her team were extraordinary. The process was easy and stress free from day one. We picked colours for the tables, food, and drinks options are were knew that Tara had everything in hand. We were given a complimentary bridal suite in the hotel which was stunning in Tudor house- meets chic boutique style, and included breakfast the next morning. As well as our own accommodation there were rooms put aside for our guests, who were given a discount.We turned up to a beautifully decorated room, complete with cupcake stands and chair ribbons in our requested colours. The food was incredible and bountiful. We had lots of compliments and people were convinced we must have spent loads on the food, when actually it was low price with high quality. We had some vegans and vegetarians in attendance and they gave fantastic feedback on their food.Service by the wait staff was exceptional in bringing round drinks for toasts and the bar staff were helpful and prompt in their service.I didn't have to worry about a thing on the night, or in the planning, so could relax and enjoy my night.I have had so many compliments from our guests about the reception- especially the food- and I can only give credit to Tara and her team at The Bell.Thank you so much for making our wedding a day to remember.
