Staff were great hotel fine. They're adamant you must pay 50 fee on arrival and return it 5 working days later. So old fashioned.
We only stayed over for Christmas Eve so didn't sample all the facilities but given that it was Christmas the folks on reception were very upbeat and helpful.Very comfy beds, spacious room, easily temp controlled. All in all great value.
Love this hotel. I've stayed here a few times over recent years. Friendly, helpful staff. Sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, swimming pool and gym all open and in clean working order. Massive double bed (two singles pushed together) tea, coffee in room. 9 each for eat as mush as you like breakfast (English and continental)I am looking forward to booking another visit
We went for a big family meal. The service wasn't great. We were the only ones in the restaurant and the the waiter was as much use as a chocolate wok. The food was not great either. I had game pie, not a bit of pastry in sight. Then came the apple pie, the custard was cold and the pie was frozen in the middle.There are better places to eat in Buckingham
Good value accomodation and friendly staff but a very dated feel in need of renovation. Pet friendly meant we could bring our dogs but there's an extra 10 fee per night. Pool, steam room and sauna were immaculately clean and very pleasant.
