Brilliant evening at Black Pepper yesterday. Good food, friendly staff and a free apology drink when the puds took a little too long to arrive. Many thanks, we will be back!
Great atmosphere, warm and attentive staff and good Turkish food. Everything was very well presented in a homely setting with just the right amount of hustle and bustle. Food was good, not as good as my Turkish mother-in-law cooks but hey, what is right? The tavuk i was very good washed down with real Turkish tea. All highly recommended.

I dont know about you, but I have never yet been able to turn down a meal out in a Turkish restaurant. When I spotted this place, tucked down a side street in Buckingham, I just had to visit. The atmosphere here is excellent, with good music, friendly staff, a beautiful layout with gleaming bar and colourful lighting. Smart but comfortable, not intimidating. We were greeted quickly and sat down within seconds of arriving.We took advantage of the lunch set menu, which we thought very reasonable, and enjoyed heartily when they arrived. Everything was perfectly cooked, nicely seasoned, and didnt take long either. I can highly recommend the baklava, and if you enjoy Turkish coffee, it comes beautifully presented in covered cups so that it is piping hot when it gets to you. If we lived locally wed become regulars, but even as things stand, we will certainly go again.
Fantastic place. Very friendly service, food was amazing. Prices reasonable and portion sizes very good. Quite small, need to book as gets very busy. Dining room downstairs, kitchen and restrooms upstairs. Am very much looking forward to going again some time in the future! Loved it!
